How is it that celebrities get these great seats to the inauguration?

I saw a few minutes of this and they showed some celebrities getting these great seats for this event. Why the hell do they get treated like royalty, even when it comes to this political event? What the hell do they have to do with any of this that makes them so much more important that they dont have to stand in the crowd like everyone else.
